Besides that, engineer is also responsible for future deployments of the business application on that infrastructure. The engineer operates according to standards and guidelines as defined within organization, such as architecture principles and mostly works in a project team led by a project leader. Other disciplines in the project team are a solution architect, an application user and representative of the run organization. Activities: Installing and (technical) configuring the application. Submitting changes for firewalls, load balancers, etc. Configuring authorization model (Active Directory, connection with SAP IDM, etc.). Documenting installation, configuration, etc. Handover to RUN organization (operational management). Participation in project meetings.
